And yes i've tried several hdmi to dvi adapters. Nothing worked. But i can run 720p and lower with HDMI @120Hz If you want 1080p @120Hz you need a) displayport to dual link dvi adapter or b) mini displayport to dual dvi adapter !!!BUT in both cases the adapters need a dedicated usb power supply to make sure to reach the needed bandwith!!!
